PicPak App Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PicPak collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use the app and related services.

1. What Information We Process

1. Account information: when you register, sign in, or edit your profile, we may process your email address, username, avatar, and related account information.

2. Device and connection information: when you connect to a PicPak device, the app may process the device identifier, device name, hardware version, firmware version, Bluetooth connection status, and other information required for connection and management.

3. Content data: when you upload images, change your avatar, or submit feedback, we process the photos, screenshots, and text you actively choose to provide.

4. Runtime and diagnostic information: when you submit feedback, or when troubleshooting is necessary, we may use version information, language settings, and relevant error details to help identify and fix issues.

2. How We Use This Information

1. To support core account functions such as sign-in, avatar display, and profile presentation.

2. To connect devices, upload images, sync device content, display device status, and complete firmware upgrades.

3. To process your feedback, diagnose product issues, and improve the app experience.

4. To maintain service security, detect abnormal behavior, and support stable operation of core features.

3. Permissions and Local Access

1. Photo access: used to choose images, upload avatars, attach feedback images, and save related local results.

2. Bluetooth access: used to discover, connect, and manage PicPak devices.

3. Storage access: used to cache images, keep required local files, and improve page rendering performance.

4. On some Android devices, Bluetooth scanning may also require a location-related system permission. This is only used to satisfy the system Bluetooth scanning requirement.

4. Storage and Sharing

1. Some information is stored locally on your device, such as sign-in state, language settings, cached images, and cached avatar files, so the app can respond more quickly.

2. Information you actively upload, such as avatars, feedback images, or account-related data, may be stored on PicPak servers in order to provide the related features.

3. Unless required by law or necessary to provide a feature you actively use, we do not sell your personal information and do not use it for purposes unrelated to PicPak's core functions.

5. Your Choices and Rights

1. You can update your username, avatar, and other account profile information.

2. You can delete device images, upload new content, or stop using a feature at any time.

3. You can request account deletion through the in-app delete-account flow. After deletion, data related to the current account will be handled in accordance with product rules and applicable law.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss of your account information and content data. However, no network transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security.

7. Minors

If you are a minor, please use PicPak under the guidance of a parent or legal guardian and review this policy together when necessary.

9. Policy Updates
